We've introduced an easy way for you to fund more impact with Ecologi directly from the Shopify app. You can now click the new "Buy more impact" button which will take you directly to our https://ecologi.com/impact-shop where you can fund more trees and explore our huge range of projects:

We've created a new page to display our ever growing library of impact widgets. You can see all the widgets we have available with a video tutorial on how to add each one to your store.

We've added a new footer widget that shows your partnership with Ecologi and the total trees you have funded. Our footer widget is available in 4 colour variations and has a transparent background so it seamlessly fits onto your footer.

We've introduced a new banner widget that you can add to the top of your Shopify store. It highlights your tree planting settings and as with all our widgets can be set to our four different colour themes.

We've introduced a new partnership widget that you can add anywhere on your store to highlight your partnership with Ecologi. This is a hero widget designed to sit on your home page, about page or sustainability page.

The widget displays your total impact with Ecologi, your tree planting settings and links through to your virtual forest.

We’ve introduced tailored spend cap recommendations for all Shopify customers. When you log into the app, you’ll now see a personalised spend cap suggestion based on your recent sales if your tree planting is on track to hit its current limit.

We’ll surface this recommendation proactively—giving you the chance to adjust your cap and avoid any interruptions to your impact. This helps ensure your planting stays consistent and protects you from unintentionally slipping into greenwashing.

We now provide a personalized estimate of how many trees you can fund each month, along with a recommended spend cap based on your recent orders. This gives you a clear picture of the cost and ensures your tree planting never gets paused due to hitting your limit.

Currently, this feature is available for new customers during app onboarding, but we plan to roll it out to all users soon.

You can now plant trees directly through the app! Shopify Flow comes preinstalled on every Shopify store and lets you create custom workflows across your store. With this integration, you can add a “” action to any workflow.

This opens up tons of creative ways to fund trees through your Shopify store — and any third-party apps that work with Shopify Flow. Some popular ideas we’ve seen so far:
